Hi, I’m Lucia Benincasa.
I photograph weddings and proposals in Italy for couples who want images that feel elegant, natural, and timeless.
My style blends a romantic eye with an editorial touch: clean compositions, soft palettes, natural light, and gentle direction that lets your spontaneity shine.

From Tuscany—between Florence, Siena, and the Val d’Orcia—to the Amalfi Coast and Positano, I help turn iconic places into intimate settings where every frame speaks about you.
I handle every step with care: a tailored photo timeline, location scouting, advice on timing and light, and a calm presence on the day so you’re free to enjoy the moment.

What to expect

  • A cohesive narrative, curated from getting ready to the evening

  • Natural portraits with light, unobtrusive guidance

  • Attention to detail (flowers, tailoring, paper goods)

  • Timely delivery and well-organized galleries that are easy to share

If you’re dreaming of a wedding or proposal in Italy, I’d love to create images that will remain beautiful today and for many years to come.

FAQs - Weddings & Proposals in Italy

  • I’ll advise the best light/windows and suggest covered or scenic backups. For proposals, we’ll set a Plan B spot and a flexible time buffer.

  • We’ll plan the exact spot, timing, and cues (text/Live Location). I’ll stay discreet, photograph the moment, and then guide a short engagement session right after. (Some locations require permits—see below.)

  • Some villas, rooftops, gardens and beaches (especially in Positano/Amalfi or historic centers) require permits or entry fees. I’ll flag these in advance and help you arrange them.

  • Neutral, elegant tones and pieces that move well photograph beautifully. Golden hour (sunrise/sunset) gives the softest light; I’ll tailor the schedule to the season and crowd levels.

  • I focus on photography and can coordinate trusted videographers. Drone is possible where legal and safe (permits/flight restrictions apply; not all venues or towns allow it).

  • Dates are first-come, first-served and secured with a signed contract + retainer.

  • If you move your date and I’m available, the retainer transfers once without penalty; new travel/permit costs may apply. Cancellations follow the contract (retainers are non-refundable).
